ISCTE-IUL (University Institute of Lisbon) is one of the top Universities in Portugal, offering undergraduate, masters and PhD degrees to Portuguese and international students. In recent years, ISCTE-IUL boasted high rates of employability, resulting in a rising demand for its graduate programs.

ISCTE-IUL Client Case Karma

In a increasing digital world, Karma was challenged to upgrade and enhance the effectiveness of ISCTE-IUL’s digital presence.

Working closely with ISCTE-IUL’s Marketing and Communication team, Karma devised a digital strategy focused not only on enhancing ISCTE-IUL’s awareness and consideration among prospects (high school students) but also on differentiating the value proposition of its programs and on accelerating online applications. This strategy included the transformation of ISCTE-IUL’s digital assets (namely the website) and the implementation of Search Engine and Social Marketing.

Up to date information on the volume of applications and admissions per program, enabled Karma to optimize the allocation of digital investment in real time.

ISCTE-IUL Client Case Karma

In 2015/2016, ISCTE-IUL attained a record number of applications and admissions. According to a robust attribution model, digital investment contributed with 31% of total admissions and generated a ROAS of nearly 3000%.
